Checkpoint Surgical today announced the addition of CHECKPOINT GEMINI™ to the company’s industry-leading line of intraoperative nerve stimulators. An addition to the company's flagship CHECKPOINT Nerve Stimulator Portfolio, Checkpoint Gemini is designed to deliver more precise stimulation.

Checkpoint Surgical announced today the launch of the Checkpoint Edge™ Nerve Cutting Kit, extending the breadth of the company’s intraoperative nerve care portfolio. The Checkpoint Edge Nerve Cutting Kit is the first offering in Checkpoint Surgical’s planned portfolio of nerve-specific instruments, with further expansion planned in the coming months.

Checkpoint Surgical, Inc., the leader in intraoperative nerve repair stimulation technology, today announced it has enrolled the first patient in its multi-center clinical study of the company’s breakthrough nerve regeneration technology. The patient was enrolled at The Ohio State University, one of four sites actively enrolling patients in the double-blind, randomized clinical trial. Other participating sites include the Medical College of Wisconsin, Northwestern University, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The study is also funded by a Department of Defense Clinical Trial Award to Dr. Amy Moore at The Ohio State University.

Checkpoint Surgical announces the full commercial release of the Checkpoint Guardian Nerve Stimulator, along with FDA clearance and market launch of the new Checkpoint Guardian Intraoperative Lead Accessory, at the 2021 ASSH. The new Checkpoint Guardian provides more precise controls and information to take nerve assessment to the next level. The Intraoperative Lead Accessory extends the surgeon’s ability to consistently and precisely assess nerve health by allowing safe, reliable same-site stimulation.
