Rick DiBlasi
Rick DiBlasi serves as Chief Commercial Officer for Checkpoint Surgical. He previously held the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing from March 2019 to March 2022. Immediately prior to joining Checkpoint Surgical, Rick was Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at Biom’Up, a French biomaterials manufacturer.
Rick has extensive experience commercializing surgical technologies and has held leadership positions across sales, marketing, corporate accounts and sales operations during a 34-year career with large companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Baxter, and Xomed/Medtronic and small start-ups such as Haemacure, ZymoGenetics and Biom’Up. Mr. DiBlasi earned a BA in Biology from The University of Rochester and pursued post-graduate work in biochemistry at Cornell University.
