Len Cosentino

President & Chief Executive Officer

Len Cosentino has served as President & CEO of Checkpoint Surgical, Inc. since its founding in 2009, and was recognized as a Rising Star by Smart Business Magazine in 2013. Prior to founding Checkpoint Surgical, from 2006 to 2009, Len served as Vice President of Business Development and General Counsel with NDI Medical, a medical device development company where the Checkpoint technology was originally developed.

Rick DiBlasi

Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Rick DiBlasi serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, a position he has held since March 2019. Immediately prior to joining Checkpoint Surgical, Rick was Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at Biom’Up, a French biomaterials manufacturer.

Don Hubbard

Vice President of Development

Don Hubbard joined Checkpoint in 2010 serving first on the Board of Directors for two years and then joining the executive management team in June of 2012 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, a position he held until October, 2017.

Laura Keck

Chief Financial Officer

Laura Keck serves as Chief Financial Officer at Checkpoint Surgical, Inc. Laura has spent her career advising and holding leadership positions in high growth companies ranging from early stage to middle market.

Derek Lewis

Vice President of Operations, Research & Development

Derek Lewis has served as Vice President of Operations and R&D for Checkpoint Surgical since 2018. He has held Product Development, Operations, and Quality leadership roles within the medical device industry for more than 20 years.

Kevin Scanlan

Vice President of Clinical Services

Kevin Scanlan was part of the initial development and launch team for Checkpoint Surgical in 2009. He has served as Vice President of Clinical Services since 2015, previously serving as Director of Clinical Training and Education from 2009 through 2014.
